-Circuitbent Speak and Spell-

The Speak and Spell is literally THE circuitbending toy. The sounds and loops you can get from this thing are just stunning. That said, diagrams and the like have been made by most everybody and their grandmothers, so I'm not going to post any. Instead, here are a couple of great links:
Casper Electronics - Speak and Math: I used the tone generator and the short glitch from this for my Speak and Math
Casper Electronics - Speak and Spell: I grabbed the glitches and the loop switch from here.
Make - Build an Inacantor: And from here I took the pitch-dial.

Follow those diagrams, and you'll be set, I can't say much about these devices that they haven't done. That is, unless you're interested in my Speak and Math step sequencer. Below are some pictures.

Note: Do not drill through that mesh on the speak and spell unless you really know what you're doing. Thanks to that, my Speak and Spell only has 12 working buttons. Also, I daisy chained multiple sliding potentiometers together instead of using one knob, it works rather well actually.

This one has fewer switches because it was made for the sequencer, but it looks a lot cleaner in the end.
